Sure, anybody can open a bag of chips or a can of nuts, but if you are like me, you want to treat your guests to more special fare. I always want my guests to have great memories of the food we have shared as well as the good times on the lake when they look back on their visits. I think that good food and the lake should go together effortlessly, and have put this section together to help you achieve that. One thing I notice about most cookbooks – the dishes in them require too many ingredients and too much preparation time. All the recipes here (except for the ones in the Rainy Day Options section) have been selected because they are very quick and easy to prepare, using the fewest possible pots and pans and yet they are delicious and fresh. They can also serve large amounts of people. I also have some tips about how to enlist help from family and guests in order to keep your cooking time to a minimum.
